Top Bathroom Floor Tile Recommendations from the Leading Viera, FL Bathroom Designers

Soaking tubs, pendant lights, double sinks; when it comes to bathroom remodeling projects, there are a lot of decisions that need to be made. While each component plays an integral role in the overall form, function, and look of the space, there’s one element that is arguably the most important: the floor.

Whether a powder room, a three-piece bath, or a master bathroom, the floor is the largest surface in the space. As such, it has a direct impact on the overall look and feel of a bathroom; however, it also needs to be incredibly durable and should be easy to maintain. Of all the different types of flooring materials available, tile is the most popular and most practical option.

There are numerous bathroom tile floor options available in an assortment of materials, colors, patterns, and styles. When selecting a tile floor material, it’s important to choose a material that will prevent moisture penetration, can withstand wear and tear, and that provides some degree of grip so that it won’t get so super-slick and pose safety risks. If you’re trying to decide which type of material to choose for your Brevard County bathroom remodel, the following options are highly recommended by professional bathroom floor tilers.

Vinyl

Of all the different types of bathroom flooring materials, vinyl is, by far, the most popular. It’s cost-effective, durable, cost-effective, requires minimal maintenance, and offers a decent amount of slip resistance. It’s also available in an assortment of styles, colors, and patterns. Top-rated Viera, FL bathroom designers can assist you with selecting the perfect vinyl tile – and will expertly install it – to create an aesthetically pleasing, beautiful bathroom.

Ceramic

Heating And Cooling Companies in Alafaya, FL

Whether you want to create an art deco, rustic, spa-like, traditional, or modern bathroom – or any other style – you’ll find ceramic tiles that will speak to your tastes. Similar to vinyl, ceramic tile floors are durable and easy to maintain, too, and while the cost does tend to run higher than vinyl, ceramic tile can still be affordable; especially when you’re working with a reputable Brevard County bathroom floor tiler.

They also tend to be cold underfoot; however, radiant heating can easily be installed underneath, creating a truly luxurious bathroom.

Stone

Stone is another material that is highly recommended by Brevard County bathroom floor tilers. Natural stone tiles are made of a variety of materials, such as granite, marble, limestone, travertine, and slate, and they’re available in a wide range of colors, like creams, grays, whites, and even golds, greens, reds, and blues.

Textures are just as varied and can include etched, tumbled, flamed, tumbled, and sandblasted. While stone tile floors are more expensive than vinyl and ceramic, and some types may require more maintenance, a natural stone tile floor can make a really impactful statement.

Some information about Viera, FL

Viera is an affluent, master-planned community located in the central coastal region of Brevard County, Florida. It is part of an unincorporated section adjacent to the Melbourne, Florida area. For census purposes, it is divided between the Census Designated Places of Viera East and Viera West. At the 2010 census, Viera East had a population of 10,757, while Viera West had a population of 6,641.

The land was developed by the Viera Company, a subsidiary of A. Duda and Sons, which owned the property formerly known as Cocoa Ranch. On August 4, 1989, they broke ground in this unincorporated area for the new community of Viera. It is derived from viera meaning ‘faith’ in Slovak, in honor of family patriarch Andrew Duda, who immigrated to the United States in 1912 from what became Slovakia. Starting in 1990, the Duda family started developing a new community with a mix of land uses, including a variety of housing types, offices, medical and industrial parks, shopping centers and recreational facilities. Todd Pokrywa was appointed President of The Viera Company effective September 1, 2018. Pokrywa named as the incoming president of The Viera Co., replacing retiring Steve Johnson

The family has donated a total of 622.7 acres (252.0 ha) of land to various organizations. The following lists the acres donated, the year, and what the land was donated for:

The Viera Development of Regional Impact (DRI) was approved in 1990 for about 3,000 acres (1,200 ha), making up Viera East. In 1992 construction began on what would become Viera East. In 1995, a 6,000-acre (2,400 ha) expansion was approved by Brevard County as a Substantial Deviation to the original DRI. Application was made for Substantial Deviation #2 in 2006 and was approved to plan for the final expansion of the community. The 11,567-acre (4,681 ha) expansion will include 5,112 acres (2,069 ha) to be set aside as managed protected land, conservation areas, parks and open space.
