Why You Should Hire a Professional Melbourne, FL Bathroom Remodeling Contractor

Is your bathroom tired and outdated? Instead of feeling relaxed, do you find the space makes you feel stressed out? Are you embarrassed whenever someone visiting your Brevard County home asks to use the restroom?

Is the space not meeting your needs? If you answered “yes” to any of these questions, chances are that you’re thinking about remodeling the space.

Of all the home improvements you can make, a bathroom renovation is one of the smartest. A renovation not only enhances the aesthetic appeal and function of the space but will also increase the value of your Brevard County property.

There’s no doubt that a bathroom renovation is a smart decision, but in order to get the most out of your bathroom remodeling, there are a lot of factors that need to be taken into consideration. One of the first decisions you’ll need to make is whether you should do the project yourself or hire a professional Brevard County bathroom remodeling contractor.

Before you start thumbing through magazines and watching tutorials, here’s a look at three great reasons why you should forego the DIY approach and hire a Melbourne, FL bathroom remodeling professional instead.

Avoid Challenges

Sure, putting up a new coat of paint, installing a new showerhead, and even replacing light fixtures may be projects you can handle on your own, but if you’re planning on doing a full bathroom renovation, things can get quite challenging and downright tricky.

For instance, replacing bathroom vanities, installing a shower conversion system, and laying subway tiles are all things that can be quite difficult to handle yourself. A professionally trained Melbourne, FL bathroom remodeling contractor, on the other hand, will have the knowledge, hands-on experience, and eye for detail that’s needed to get the job done the right way the first time around.

Reduced Stress

Of all the different remodeling projects, a bathroom renovation can be one of the most stressful. It can be very time-consuming and labor-intensive, and trying to find the time and energy to fit the project into your already hectic schedule can seem like an impossible task.

Heating And Cooling Companies in Melbourne, FL

Instead of stressing yourself out, hire a Melbourne, FL bathroom remodeling professional. A contractor will take the stress off of your shoulders so that all you’ll need to do is sit back, relax, and when the project is finished, enjoy your newly renovated space.

Cost Savings

Like a lot of Brevard County homeowners, you probably assume that a DIY home improvement project is more cost-effective than hiring a professional; however, in reality, with big projects, like a bathroom renovation, the opposite is actually true.

Because a reputable and experienced Melbourne, FL bathroom remodeling contractor will know to develop the most effective plan of action, will be able to successfully navigate challenges, and will know how to properly install all elements, there’s much less of a chance that costly mistakes will be made.

Furthermore, if anything does go wrong, a reputable contractor will be fully insured and will offer a guarantee, so if any errors do occur, they’ll cover the cost of the necessary repairs. When you calculate and compare costs, hiring a professional is a much more affordable way to go.

Some information about Melbourne, FL

Melbourne is a city in Brevard County, Florida, United States. It is seventy-two miles southeast of Orlando. As of the 2010 census, there was a population of 76,068. The municipality is the second-largest in the county by both size and population. Melbourne is a principal city of the Palm Bay – Melbourne – Titusville, Florida Metropolitan Statistical Area. In 1969, the city was expanded by merging with nearby Eau Gallie.

Evidence for the presence of Paleo-Indians in the Melbourne area during the late Pleistocene epoch was uncovered during the 1920s. C. P. Singleton, a Harvard University zoologist, discovered the bones of a mammoth (Mammuthus columbi) on his property along Crane Creek, 1.5 miles (2.4 km) from Melbourne, and brought in Amherst College paleontologist Frederick B. Loomis to excavate the skeleton. Loomis found a second elephant, with a ‘large rough flint instrument’ among fragments of the elephant’s ribs. Loomis found in the same stratum mammoth, mastodon, horse, ground sloth, tapir, peccary, camel, and saber-tooth cat bones, all extinct in Florida since the end of the Pleistocene 10,000 years ago. At a nearby site a human rib and charcoal were found in association with Mylodon, Megalonyx, and Chlamytherium (ground sloth) teeth. A finely worked spear point found with these items may have been displaced from a later stratum. In 1925 attention shifted to the Melbourne golf course.

A crushed human skull with finger, arm, and leg bones was found in association with a horse tooth. A piece of ivory that appeared to have been modified by humans was found at the bottom of the stratum containing bones. Other finds included a spear point near a mastodon bone and a turtle-back scraper and blade found with bear, camel, mastodon, horse, and tapir bones. Similar human remains, Pleistocene animals and Paleo-Indian artifacts were found in Vero Beach, 30 miles (48 km) south of Melbourne, and similar Paleo-Indian artifacts were found at the Helen Blazes archaeological site, 10 miles (16 km) southwest of Melbourne.

The Hotel Carleton c. 1907

The first settlers arrived after 1877. They included Richard W. Goode, his father John Goode, Cornthwaite John Hector, Captain Peter Wright, Balaam Allen, Wright Brothers, and Thomas Mason. Three of these men, Wright, Allen, and Brothers were black freedmen.
