Is the space not meeting your needs? If you answered “yes” to any of these questions, chances are that you’re thinking about remodeling the space.

Of all the home improvements you can make, a bathroom renovation is one of the smartest. A renovation not only enhances the aesthetic appeal and function of the space but will also increase the value of your Brevard County property.

There’s no doubt that a bathroom renovation is a smart decision, but in order to get the most out of your bathroom remodeling, there are a lot of factors that need to be taken into consideration. One of the first decisions you’ll need to make is whether you should do the project yourself or hire a professional Brevard County bathroom remodeling contractor.

Before you start thumbing through magazines and watching tutorials, here’s a look at three great reasons why you should forego the DIY approach and hire a Palm Bay, FL bathroom remodeling professional instead.

Avoid Challenges

Sure, putting up a new coat of paint, installing a new showerhead, and even replacing light fixtures may be projects you can handle on your own, but if you’re planning on doing a full bathroom renovation, things can get quite challenging and downright tricky.

For instance, replacing bathroom vanities, installing a shower conversion system, and laying subway tiles are all things that can be quite difficult to handle yourself. A professionally trained Palm Bay, FL bathroom remodeling contractor, on the other hand, will have the knowledge, hands-on experience, and eye for detail that’s needed to get the job done the right way the first time around.

Reduced Stress

Of all the different remodeling projects, a bathroom renovation can be one of the most stressful. It can be very time-consuming and labor-intensive, and trying to find the time and energy to fit the project into your already hectic schedule can seem like an impossible task.

Instead of stressing yourself out, hire a Palm Bay, FL bathroom remodeling professional. A contractor will take the stress off of your shoulders so that all you’ll need to do is sit back, relax, and when the project is finished, enjoy your newly renovated space.

Cost Savings

Like a lot of Brevard County homeowners, you probably assume that a DIY home improvement project is more cost-effective than hiring a professional; however, in reality, with big projects, like a bathroom renovation, the opposite is actually true.

Because a reputable and experienced Palm Bay, FL bathroom remodeling contractor will know to develop the most effective plan of action, will be able to successfully navigate challenges, and will know how to properly install all elements, there’s much less of a chance that costly mistakes will be made.

Furthermore, if anything does go wrong, a reputable contractor will be fully insured and will offer a guarantee, so if any errors do occur, they’ll cover the cost of the necessary repairs. When you calculate and compare costs, hiring a professional is a much more affordable way to go.

Some information about Palm Bay, FL

Palm Bay is a city in Brevard County, Florida, United States. The city’s population was 119,760 at the 2020 United States Census, making it the most populous city in the county and the largest by land mass. The historic section of the city lies on the mouth of the Turkey Creek and the Palm Bay. Palm Bay has historically expanded south and to the west. The newer section is mostly situated west of Interstate 95 and south of the Tillman Canal.

The Ais people, attracted to the mouth of Turkey Creek at the Indian River by freshwater springs, fish, oysters, and wildlife, are thought to have been the first inhabitants in the Palm Bay area.

The earliest place names for this area on early maps of the late 1700s were Turkey Creek, Elbow Creek and Crane Creek. An 1870 map of the Indian River by John Andrew Bostrom shows the area void of any settlements within about 15 miles of Turkey Creek. The first prominent European-American settler was John Tillman in the late 1870s. Tillman’s wharf marked the mouth of Turkey Creek at what became known as Palm Bay on the Indian River.

By the late 1880s, Tillman was operating a profitable orange and banana grove on the north shore of the creek. He had the most notable banana grove on the Indian River. Tillman’s wharf also attracted settlers, as it was a steamboat stop.
