How to Prepare for New Viera, FL Kitchen Cabinet Installation
After careful consideration and painstaking planning, you and your Viera, FL kitchen designers have come up with the perfect layout and design for your full kitchen remodeling project. Of all the important decisions that were made, the style, material, features, and layout of the cabinets were perhaps the most important. Now the day has almost arrived when they’re finally going to be installed, and you can’t wait!
While there’s no doubt that you’re super-excited to have your new Brevard County kitchen cabinets installed if you’re honest, you’re also a little bit overwhelmed, and that’s totally understandable; after all, once they’re in place, you will actually be able to see the idea that you’ve been envisioning becoming a reality – and that really is exciting! Knowing what to expect and how to prepare will help to calm your nerves and ensure the process goes as smoothly as possible.
To get ready the space before your Viera, FL kitchen designers arrive, here are some tips to help you prepare for your new kitchen cabinet installation.
Make sure that there’s ample room in your Brevard County kitchen. Cabinets are big and bulky, and handling them can be awkward and may require a lot of space to move about. To ensure that your Viera, FL kitchen designers can easily maneuver the cabinets and reach the locations where they will be installed, take the time to make sure that there’s enough space ahead of time.
If you have set up a temporary kitchen to use throughout the duration of your full kitchen remodeling project, complete with a mini-fridge, a table and chairs, and makeshift countertops, for example, make sure that you clear everything out before the cabinet installation is scheduled to take place.
Not only will your Viera, FL kitchen designers appreciate that you took the time to make space for them to move about, but you’ll also be glad you removed anything that might be in the way and could potentially become damaged.
Select an Entry Point
What entry point will provide the Viera, FL kitchen designers with the most direct access to your kitchen? Often, this is something that a lot of Brevard County homeowners overlook when they’re having new kitchen cabinets installed, but it’s very important, so you definitely don’t want to make the same mistake.
If there are multiple doors that enter your home, select the one that will provide the cabinet installation professionals the most direct access to your kitchen. Why? Well, because they’ll have less area to cover while holding those big, bulky, and cumbersome items, which means that their chances of sustaining an injury will be reduced and because it minimizes the risk of having your cabinets damaged.
Provide Easy Access
In addition to making room in your Brevard County kitchen, you’re always going to want to take the time to make sure that your Viera, FL kitchen designers will be able to easily access the space. Keep in mind that cabinets are big and heavy, so it’s a wise idea to make sure that there’s easy access into your kitchen.
Consider the entry point the Viera, FL kitchen designers will be using to enter your home – the front door, the back door, a side door, etc. – and make sure that if there’s anything blocking the area, it’s removed so that there’s a clear path to your Brevard County kitchen.

Viera is an affluent, master-planned community located in the central coastal region of Brevard County, Florida. It is part of an unincorporated section adjacent to the Melbourne, Florida area. For census purposes, it is divided between the Census Designated Places of Viera East and Viera West. At the 2010 census, Viera East had a population of 10,757, while Viera West had a population of 6,641.
The land was developed by the Viera Company, a subsidiary of A. Duda and Sons, which owned the property formerly known as Cocoa Ranch. On August 4, 1989, they broke ground in this unincorporated area for the new community of Viera. It is derived from viera meaning ‘faith’ in Slovak, in honor of family patriarch Andrew Duda, who immigrated to the United States in 1912 from what became Slovakia. Starting in 1990, the Duda family started developing a new community with a mix of land uses, including a variety of housing types, offices, medical and industrial parks, shopping centers and recreational facilities. Todd Pokrywa was appointed President of The Viera Company effective September 1, 2018. Pokrywa named as the incoming president of The Viera Co., replacing retiring Steve Johnson
The family has donated a total of 622.7 acres (252.0 ha) of land to various organizations. The following lists the acres donated, the year, and what the land was donated for:
The Viera Development of Regional Impact (DRI) was approved in 1990 for about 3,000 acres (1,200 ha), making up Viera East. In 1992 construction began on what would become Viera East. In 1995, a 6,000-acre (2,400 ha) expansion was approved by Brevard County as a Substantial Deviation to the original DRI. Application was made for Substantial Deviation #2 in 2006 and was approved to plan for the final expansion of the community. The 11,567-acre (4,681 ha) expansion will include 5,112 acres (2,069 ha) to be set aside as managed protected land, conservation areas, parks and open space.
